We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to build a new version of our news website using: GeneratePress Premium GenerateBlocks Pro Gutenberg The current website uses WPBakery, but the new website will be built separately with a clean and lightweight setup. Existing content will later be migrated to the new website. The website is hosted on Kinsta, and a staging site is available for development and testing. The developer will create the homepage and main templates and ensure the website is fast, responsive, SEO-friendly, and easy for editors to manage. The design should be clean, modern, and suitable for a news website. It should have a strong visual hierarchy, clear typography, rectangular images without rounded corners, good advertisement placements, and an excellent mobile layout. The layout should resemble professional news websites like Reuters or BBC News while referencing our current website's content structure and categories (not as an exact copy). Applicants must have experience with GeneratePress, GenerateBlocks, Gutenberg, news websites, responsive design, and WordPress migrations. Please include examples of similar projects, your proposed approach, estimated timeline, and quotation.
