I’m ready to turn my lesson-marketplace concept into a working MVP. Think Preply, but with an Airbnb-style map so learners can find tutors who teach in person as well as online. The product has to feel fast and reliable on Android and on the web from day one. Core scope • Map-based discovery: users browse a live map to spot tutors near them, with distance, price and subject filters baked in. • Subject coverage: Languages, Music and Academic subjects must appear as top-level categories so tutors can label themselves and students can refine searches instantly. • Dual delivery modes: every lesson listing lets the tutor mark “online”, “in person” or both, and that flag controls whether the profile appears in the geolocation layer. • Account flow: email, Google or Apple sign-up, tutor onboarding with ID check, learner profile creation, photo, short bio and preferred subjects. • Scheduling and booking: calendar view, time-zone handling, automated confirmations and cancellations. • Secure payments: escrow on booking, release on lesson completion, simple commission logic configurable from an admin panel. • Ratings & reviews plus basic messaging so student and tutor can chat before meeting. Tech expectations A modern stack that scales—React or Vue for the web, Kotlin or Flutter for Android, and a cloud backend (Node, Django, or similar) with geospatial queries. I’m flexible on exact tools as long as you can justify the choice and hand over clean, well-documented code with deployment scripts. Deliverables 1. Android APK and Play Store-ready bundle 2. Responsive web app deployed to my cloud account 3. Source code repo with README and setup instructions 4.
