I need a clean, professional website for my healthcare practice that lets patients handle everything in one place—from booking a slot to paying their bill. Scheduling workflow Patients should be able to choose an appointment type, confirm the time in real-time, and immediately receive an email or SMS confirmation. Automated follow-up reminders must trigger at preset intervals, and I also run small group therapy sessions, so the calendar has to accept multiple bookings for the same slot while capping numbers. Payment integration At checkout I only want to offer credit or debit card processing alongside a direct bank-transfer option. If the platform we pick makes it easy to add PayPal later, that flexibility is a plus, but it is not required for launch. User and admin experience • Mobile-first responsive design so patients can book on any device. • An intuitive admin dashboard where my staff can add services, adjust availability, view transactions, and download reports. • HIPAA-friendly handling of patient data (no medical records stored, just contact details and appointment notes). • Integration with Google Calendar or Outlook so clinicians’ diaries stay in sync. Tech preferences I am content with WordPress + WooCommerce/Stripe, Laravel, or a comparable stack—use whatever you’re fastest and most comfortable with, provided it stays maintainable and secure. Acceptance criteria 1. I can publish new services, set durations, and assign clinicians without touching code. 2. A test booking flows all the way through to a successful card payment and confirmation email. 3. Follow-up reminders and group session limits work as described. 4. Site passes basic speed and security checks (e.g., GTmetrix grade B or better, SSL, reCAPTCHA on forms).
