I’m putting together a horror-themed YouTube video and need an editor who can turn my raw footage into a chilling final cut that keeps viewers on edge from the very first frame. The source files include multi-camera shots, location audio and a few stock sound effects; everything is organized in clearly labelled folders on Google Drive and ready for download. I’m looking for someone comfortable with horror pacing—lingering tension, sudden jumps, unsettling ambience—while still respecting YouTube’s community guidelines. Feel free to suggest colour-grading choices, sound design tricks, or VFX that heighten the fear factor without pushing it into outright gore (unless you think a quick splash sells the scare, in which case pitch me the moment). You’ll handle: • Assembling and trimming footage into an 8–10-minute narrative • Colour grading, basic compositing and atmospheric VFX (fog, flicker, subtle glitches) • Sound design: underscore placement, eerie stingers, balanced dialogue, punchy jump-scare hits • Title card, lower-thirds and an end screen that match the channel’s branding Final delivery: 4K master (ProRes or DNx), plus a ready-to-upload 1080p H.264 export, both with embedded captions.
