I’m expanding my residential projects in Southwest London and need an experienced HVAC engineer who can move comfortably from the drawing board to the crawl-space. On any given week you might be sizing a heat-pump for a Victorian terrace, supervising its installation, fine-tuning airflow, then walking the homeowner through an easy-to-follow maintenance routine—all while keeping a sharp eye on running costs and carbon savings. The role covers three core areas: designing complete residential systems that meet current regulations, overseeing and occasionally helping with on-site installation and servicing, and driving energy-management improvements so clients see tangible reductions on their utility bills. Strong system-troubleshooting instincts, clear customer communication, and a track record in energy-efficiency upgrades are essential because most of my work comes from word-of-mouth. I handle the client acquisition, project pipeline, and admin; you bring the technical leadership. Projects stay local, so you’ll rarely spend more than 30 minutes on the road between jobs.
