I am looking for an experienced website developer to improve and complete my remote IT support website, BulldogRemote.com. The website is already built, but it currently has performance, content, image, and integration issues that need to be corrected. The goal is to create a faster, more professional, trustworthy, and conversion-focused website that makes it easy for customers to understand my services and book an appointment. Note: Some portions of the website still contain template/demo content from the original build. As part of this project, I want all placeholder content removed and replaced with accurate information that reflects my business. Project Requirements 1. Website Speed and Performance Diagnose why the website currently lags while loading. Improve page-load speed on both desktop and mobile. Optimize images, scripts, fonts, and other website assets. Reduce unnecessary code, plugins, or elements that may be slowing the site down. Ensure the website performs well without changing the overall branding. 2. Fix Broken Images and Display Issues Locate and repair all broken image links. Correct any spacing, alignment, formatting, or mobile responsiveness issues. Test the website across common screen sizes and browsers. 3. Replace Stock Images Replace the current stock photos with professional photos of me that I will provide. Crop, resize, and optimize the supplied images for the website. Place the photos appropriately throughout the site to create a more personal and trustworthy brand. 4. About Me and Service Content Add a professional biography highlighting my more than 20 years of experience in computer repair and technical support. Improve the presentation and descriptions of my remote IT support services. Content should be easy for nontechnical customers to understand. The website should communicate trust, experience, convenience, and transparent service. 5. Zoho Bookings Integration Integrate my existing Zoho Bookings account into the website. Allow customers to select a service, choose an available appointment time, and complete the booking process. Ensure the booking system works properly on desktop and mobile. Booking buttons and calls to action should be easy to locate throughout the site. 6. SEO and Conversion Optimization Improve on-page SEO throughout the website. Optimize page titles, headings, meta descriptions, image alt text, internal links, and service-related keywords. Structure the pages to target customers searching for remote computer help, remote IT support, computer troubleshooting, virus removal, Microsoft 365 support, printer support, and related services. Improve calls to action and page layouts to encourage visitors to book services. Recommend and/or create additional service-specific landing pages where beneficial for SEO. Ensure the website follows current SEO best practices and is structured to rank well in search engines. Focus on improving both search engine visibility and visitor-to-customer conversion rates. 7. Improve Website Credibility Remove placeholder statistics and replace them with accurate business information. Update service metrics, customer counts, review totals, and geographic coverage so they accurately reflect my business. Remove any placeholder or demonstration customer reviews that use stock photography or fictional information. Ensure all testimonials and trust elements displayed on the website are authentic and accurately represent my business. Review the entire website for any remaining placeholder or template content and replace it with genuine business information. Remove any remaining lorem ipsum text, sample graphics, stock placeholder elements, or demo content that may still exist anywhere on the website. Preferred Freelancer Qualifications Strong experience with website speed optimization. Experience with WordPress or the platform currently used by the website. Strong knowledge of technical SEO and on-page SEO. Experience integrating Zoho Bookings or similar appointment systems. Strong written English and an understanding of conversion-focused website design. Experience creating professional service-business websites. Ability to provide examples of similar completed projects. Deliverables Faster-loading website on desktop and mobile. All broken images and display issues repaired. Stock images replaced with supplied personal photos. Professional biography and improved service content added. Zoho Bookings fully integrated and tested. Accurate business information replaces all placeholder/demo content. Placeholder reviews, statistics, and template content removed. On-page SEO and conversion improvements completed. Final website tested for speed, responsiveness, broken links, booking functionality, and overall user experience.
