Descripción de la oferta

I’m rolling out a series of AC charging stations for electric vehicles and I need a senior-level, industrial electrical engineer to steer the design and layout work—especially the power-distribution side of things. Your practical plant-floor experience is critical because these chargers will tie into existing industrial infrastructure rather than typical commercial service panels. Here’s what I’m looking for you to tackle: • Produce and/or refine single-line and layout drawings that show transformer sizing, feeder runs, grounding and protection schemes. • Run load calculations and voltage-drop studies (ETAP, SKM, or a comparable tool is fine) so each site can be signed off by utility inspectors without redesign loops. • Recommend switchgear, breakers, contactors and cable types that balance cost, availability and long-term reliability, all while meeting NEC and local code requirements. • Flag any touch-point with safety standards—clearance distances, fault-current ratings, earthing, labeling—so the installation crew has zero ambiguity. • Be available for short design-review calls to clarify drawings and answer installer questions right up to energization. Acceptance criteria 1. A complete power-distribution design package for one pilot site (drawings in DWG + PDF, equipment schedule in XLS). 2. Written load calculation summary and coordination study that meets the authority having jurisdiction. 3. All documents stamped “Issued for Construction” after our internal review cycle. If this sounds like your wheelhouse, let’s talk timelines and get the first site nailed down.
