I’m about to break ground on a new industrial facility and need a civil engineer who can also act as the Industrial site supervisor. You will own the build from mobilisation to hand-over, steering people, plant, and materials while keeping the schedule intact. Your brief is truly end-to-end: translate drawings into field execution, coordinate subcontractors, and update the master programme so we never drift off the critical path. Timeline management is my top concern, but I still expect you to police quality and safety rigorously, stopping work whenever standards slip. Day to day you will chair toolbox talks, issue work permits, log progress photographs, and keep me and other stakeholders in the loop with concise reports. A solid grasp of AutoCAD for quick mark-ups and either MS Project or Primavera for scheduling is essential, as is prior experience supervising industrial facilities rather than residential or commercial builds. Key deliverables • Weekly updated Gantt chart with variance notes • Daily site log (labour, equipment, weather, hindrances) • Fortnightly quality and safety audit checklist, signed off • Red-lined as-built drawings at project close I’m ready to start immediately and will approve milestones as each deliverable above is met.
