An industrial warehouse is being planned and its success hinges on a well-engineered set of loading docks. The scope centers on designing these docks so they integrate smoothly with the overall building envelope, streamline truck turnaround, and comply with local safety and accessibility codes. Deliverables • Scaled architectural and structural drawings of the loading-dock area (plans, sections, elevations). • Dock-leveler, bumper, door and shelter specifications ready for procurement. • Pavement and traffic-flow layout showing turning radii and staging zones. • Bill of materials with load calculations and code references. • A brief installation guideline so the construction crew can execute without ambiguity. Acceptance Criteria • Drawings meet the stated warehouse footprint and municipal code for industrial facilities. • Dock equipment sizing supports the intended freight profile (standard semi-trailers). • All files submitted in editable CAD/PDF formats and a single consolidated report. I already have a preferred warehouse footprint; once the NDA is signed, you’ll receive the site plan and any existing surveys to incorporate.
