I’m ready to digitise my restaurant’s menu and need an Android app that diners can browse right at the table. The scope is intentionally simple for this first release: • Menu display with prices only – no online ordering or table reservation yet, though I’d like the code structured so those features could be bolted on later. Here’s what I have in mind. When a guest opens the app they see clean, clearly labelled categories (appetisers, mains, desserts, drinks). Tapping a category reveals every dish in that section, each with a high-quality image, name, short description and accurate price. Smooth scrolling, fast image loading and an intuitive back-and-forth navigation are essential because this will run on in-house tablets. I will supply all photography and copy; you handle layout, lightweight image optimisation and building the APK. The design should follow Android Material guidelines so it looks familiar and snappy. A basic JSON or SQLite data layer is fine for now—whatever keeps item updates straightforward without recompiling the whole app. Deliverables I expect: • Full Android Studio project with well-commented source code • Signed release APK ready to install on our tablets • Brief hand-off note explaining how to add or edit menu items and images If you’ve created similar catalogue or menu apps, I’d love to see a quick demo link or screenshots.
