My retail data currently sits in a series of Excel spreadsheets and I need it transformed into a single, polished reporting environment that management can explore without my help. The finished workbook must open to a clean, modern landing page that uses a professional colour theme and clear navigation to the supporting analysis tabs. Core analytics – KPI cards for Sales, Orders, Revenue and Profit that refresh automatically when the underlying data is updated. – Dynamic bar, line, pie and donut visuals driven by Pivot Tables / Pivot Charts so trends can be sliced by month, year and category. – “Top” views highlighting best-selling products, leading cities and categories at a glance. – Customer purchase behaviour insights that reveal basket size, repeat purchase rate and average order value. Technical scope All data comes from Excel sources only—no external databases or APIs—so the solution must rely on Power Query, Pivot Tables, slicers and, where useful, Power Pivot or simple DAX to keep performance snappy. The workbook should remain fully editable; I want formulas, queries and measures clearly named and a short README sheet explaining refresh steps and sheet purposes. Acceptance criteria • Single .xlsx (or .xlsm) file delivered, no password protection. • All visuals update correctly when I click “Refresh All”. • Navigation buttons or slicers allow non-technical users to filter any chart in two clicks or fewer. • Colour palette is consistent with the sample screenshots I will provide after award. • Basic documentation (one page) outlining data flow, key measures and any advanced formulas.
