Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot and Dell Update Deployment We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot specialist to complete the enrolment and configuration of approximately 19 existing Windows 11 Pro laptops. Our organisation has approximately 32 laptops in total. Each employee has a Microsoft 365 account. Historically, each laptop was configured manually with a separate local administrator account, while the employee used a standard Windows account connected to their work Microsoft 365 account. We have begun moving our devices to Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot, but approximately 19 laptops remain. The work will include: Registering each remaining laptop with Windows Autopilot. Enrolling each laptop in Microsoft Intune. Ensuring employees remain standard users and do not receive local administrator rights. Setting each device’s ownership to Corporate in Intune. Renaming each device using the format ATLAS-{{serial number}}. Minimising disruption and preserving existing user data, applications and settings wherever possible. Providing a completed record showing each device’s: Serial number New computer name Assigned Microsoft 365 user Intune and Autopilot registration status Before making any enrolment or configuration changes, Dell SupportAssist Remediation must be updated to version 5.5.16.1 or later. Some laptops have previously experienced blue-screen errors because an affected version was present during the Intune enrolment process. Silently update it to version 5.5.16.1 or later where required. Ensure this update is completed before other enrolment or configuration changes are applied. Create and deploy an Intune-compatible configuration or script for Dell Command Update. Configure Dell Command Update to check for, download and install appropriate BIOS, firmware, driver and application updates automatically. Configure sensible scheduling, restart handling and logging. Provide copies of all scripts and brief deployment documentation. Applicants should have proven experience with: Microsoft Intune Windows Autopilot Microsoft Entra ID Enrolling existing Windows devices while preserving user profiles PowerShell scripting Dell Command Update Dell SupportAssist Remediation Troubleshooting Windows enrolment and blue-screen issues Please explain how you would approach the project, how you would avoid disrupting employees, and provide examples of similar Intune or Autopilot work you have completed.
