I need a compact inventory management module. The focus is on three item types—devices, accessories and SIM cards. Core screens Dashboard, Stock buying history, all inventory details (to whom it assigned and their status) • Supplier create form • Device, Accessories and SIM card forms that support both single and bulk entry. All records must be editable and deletable. Status logic Each item can switch between the following fixed states: working, defective, assigned, installed, expired, defecture return and sold. Status changes must automatically update stock counts. For example, when I mark a SIM or device as installed it is deducted from both the technician’s stock and the main inventory; when it is removed it returns to inventory (+1). The same logic applies to accessories. Functional requirements • CRUD APIs and simple admin UI (Express + Mongoose is fine). • Search / filter by item type, status, supplier and serial/IMEI number. • Validation to prevent duplicate serials or ICCIDs. • Bulk upload via CSV or XLSX. • Activity log for every status or quantity change. • Clean code, clear schema definitions and a short README so I can plug this module into an existing Node project. Acceptance criteria 1. I can create suppliers and link them to new stock records. 2. I can add 100+ items in one upload without timeout. 3. Setting an item to “installed” or “removed” adjusts both technician and main warehouse counts exactly as described. 4. All forms and APIs return appropriate success or error feedback. Deliver the complete source code, sample database seed files and installation instructions. If questions come up about edge cases—future technician or supplier roles, partial returns, etc.—let’s discuss them early so the schema remains flexible.
