I have a set of English-language materials that must read as if they were originally written for a Japanese audience. The job goes beyond a word-for-word swap: tone, idioms, and any cultural references should feel naturally Japanese while preserving the intent of the source. You will receive the source files in editable format and, if helpful, style notes that outline brand voice and terminology already in use. I’m open to your recommendations on terminology management and prefer you work in a modern CAT tool (Trados, memoQ, or equivalent) so that future updates remain consistent.
