The focus is strictly on grocery items for now, so the catalogue can stay streamlined. Because these buyers are usually wholesalers or institutional customers, I need a separate registration flow that flags them as “bulk customers” the moment they sign up. Standard shoppers should not reach this area, so a quick role-based login or a dedicated sign-up page will work. I’m flexible on how the actual order form looks; if an off-the-shelf cart or WooCommerce checkout covers bulk quantities cleanly, great—otherwise I’m open to a light custom form. What matters most is that users can set high quantities fast, see clear total pricing, and submit the order in one go. Once the order lands in the back-end, I should receive a notification (email or dashboard alert) with the full breakdown so I can arrange fulfilment. If you can hook this into an existing inventory or payment gateway, mention that in your approach; otherwise, a “cash on delivery / manual invoice” option is enough for the first release.
