I’m preparing to reveal Lanternfall, our debut mobile puzzle-adventure, and I need a visually captivating one-page site that persuades visitors to hit the “Wishlist” button before launch. Here’s the experience I’m after: the moment the page loads, a looping background animation sets the tone for the game’s eerie-yet-whimsical mood, the hero copy fades in, and a short trailer sits ready to play. As visitors scroll, subtle GSAP-style motion draws attention to our core mechanics, story beats, and a press-kit download. An embedded Mailchimp form should capture email sign-ups without redirecting, and social channels must be easy to spot on every device. What you’ll deliver • Fully responsive, mobile-first single page • Hero section with smooth, endlessly looping background animation • Embedded YouTube or Vimeo trailer (my choice at hand-off) • Scroll-triggered animated highlight blocks (three total) • Mailchimp-connected sign-up form with double opt-in enabled • Prominent social links and a press-kit button • Basic on-page SEO (structured meta, open-graph tags, alt text) • Clean, well-commented HTML, CSS, JavaScript—ready for hand-off or future expansion Tech & quality expectations I’m comfortable if you choose GSAP, Framer Motion, or polished CSS keyframes—as long as the motion feels snappy on mobile. Code should hit 90+ on Lighthouse for performance, follow semantic markup, and be easy for another dev to extend, ideally in a React or Next.js environment later. Send over a quick note with a link to any interactive, game-related sites you’ve built. If the vibe matches Lanternfall, we can kick off right away.
