I have a new leather handbag concept sketched out and now need it turned into a precise 3-D CAD model that a factory can read without further tweaking. The core requirement is to show a clean exterior shell and a fully detailed interior with multiple compartments integrated into the main body. Material: genuine leather, so wall thicknesses, edge folding, and stitch allowances must reflect standard leather-goods practice rather than soft fabric construction. While I am open to adding touches such as adjustable straps or a zipper closure later, this first phase is strictly about locking down the overall form and the compartment layout. What I will supply • Hand-drawn sketches with rough dimensions • Inspiration photos indicating style cues • My preferred overall size range What I need back • Native CAD file (SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, or similar) • A universal STEP file for manufacturers • Dimensioned tech drawings (top, side, bottom, cross-sections) showing compartment placement, seam lines, and stitch margins • Simple exploded view or call-out sheet that highlights hardware points (magnetic snaps, D-rings, etc.) Acceptance criteria 1. All major dimensions match the numbers I provide (±1 mm). 2. Separate layers/bodies for shell, lining, and hardware. 3. File set opens without errors in SolidWorks 2021. If you have leather-goods experience and can suggest subtle construction improvements while modelling, even better. Please include one example of a previous bag or accessory you’ve taken from sketch to factory-ready files so I can see how you present technical details.
