I’m finishing up a real-time chat app that communicates through WebSockets and lives on Vercel. The missing piece is a clean, lightweight landing page where new users can create an account with their email and a password. Here’s what I need: • A responsive page that loads quickly on Vercel and matches the minimalist look of the existing site. • A single form that captures email + password, validates on the client side, then hits my existing API endpoint for registration. • Proper error and success handling so users immediately know whether the account was created. • Seamless redirect to the chat dashboard once registration succeeds. Tech stack is flexible as long as it plays nicely with Vercel and my WebSocket-based backend; Next.js or plain React are both fine. If you’d like to peek at the login or dashboard routes for context, let me know—I can share temporary links. Security extras such as 2FA or Captcha aren’t mandatory right now, but please build in a structure that would let me bolt those on later without a full rewrite. I’ll consider the job complete when I can deploy the page to Vercel, run a quick registration flow with email + password, and land in the chat interface without errors.
