I’m looking for an admin who can jump in right away and take full ownership of my fleet of Linux machines. Ubuntu is the operating system I touch most often, but you’ll also encounter CentOS, AlmaLinux and the occasional Rocky host, so cross-distro confidence is essential. Day-to-day you’ll be spinning up and hardening both Apache and Nginx stacks, tuning MySQL / MariaDB, and moving WordPress sites between servers without a hitch. When DNS records misbehave, SSL renewals fail, mail queues clog or performance suddenly tanks, I’ll rely on you to diagnose and fix the root cause—fast. Most of the infrastructure sits on VPS nodes in AWS and Azure, with a few “traditional” dedicated boxes. Familiarity with cPanel, Plesk and DirectAdmin will save time when panel-based tasks pop up. The timeline is ASAP, so clear communication matters: I expect concise progress notes as milestones are reached and immediate alerts if anything blocks you. Once the work is complete, every server should be secure, fully patched and running smoothly with monitoring in place. If you’re comfortable scripting repeatable deployments, automating backups and optimising for both speed and stability, I’m ready to get started.
