Long-term WordPress/WooCommerce freelancer needed - ongoing role, not a one-off project. Sydney, Australia time zone seen as favourable. We're an Australian-owned consumer electronics distribution and brand business (senior, accessibility and kids' phones, sold through major retailers across Australia, NZ, UK, Ireland and the South Pacific). We run 8 WordPress sites across our brands and territories. Only one is currently set up as ecommerce. We're after one person who can become our long-term go-to for all of it, not a quick job and gone. What the role covers Ongoing, every month - Keep all 8 sites updated with new products, pricing and promotions throughout the year - Upload blog content and work with our in-house digital marketer and third-party graphic designer to get campaign and promo pages live - Work directly with our external SEO agency, implement their technical tickets, and join regular meetings with them - General WordPress dev and maintenance as it comes up Projects - Rework our existing ecommerce site for a better user experience, with a real focus on generating more customer reviews (we already do well on Trustpilot, ProductReview and Safewise and want to build on that) - Convert some of our other brand sites into ecommerce, including setting up payment gateways - Integrate our stores with our inventory management system, Unleashed, so stock and orders sync properly rather than being managed by hand - Help us respond if a site comes under a DDoS attack, and get proper edge protection in place so it's less likely to happen again What we're looking for - Genuine WooCommerce experience, not just general WordPress. Please share links to live stores you've built or maintained. - Comfort with Unleashed integration specifically, or similar inventory-to-store syncing (Cloudflare, SKUPlugs, Commercium, DSYNC or a custom API approach). We want to hear how you'd handle syncing multiple stores against one inventory system, including currency and stock issues. - Experience with review-generation tools on WooCommerce (Judge.me, Trustpilot, WiserReview or similar) and how you'd set up an automated post-purchase review request flow. - Payment gateway setup experience (Stripe, eWAY, Pin Payments or similar). - Cloudflare and Wordfence experience for DDoS mitigation and general site hardening. We want someone who understands this happens at the edge, not just inside a plugin. - Someone used to juggling multiple WordPress sites efficiently, ideally with some automation or staging workflow rather than manual, one-by-one updates. - Good communicator, reliable, comfortable taking direction from an SEO agency and coordinating with a marketer and a designer. How we'd like to work together We're looking for an ongoing monthly arrangement rather than a single fixed-price job, starting around 40 hours a month and likely growing while we're mid-project on the store conversions and the Unleashed integration. If that structure works for you on Freelancer.com, let us know how you'd prefer to set it up. To apply, please tell us 1. A couple of live WooCommerce stores you've built or maintained 2. Your experience (if any) with Unleashed, or similar inventory system integrations 3. How you'd approach review generation on an ecommerce site 4. Your availability and preferred monthly rate for an ongoing arrangement Looking forward to hearing from you. Jamie
