Project description Hello, I'm looking for an experienced professional to create the production-ready files for three heraldic crests intended for laser cutting on 2 mm Fe sheet metal. This is an important project: the crests will be installed outdoors and will be highly visible. I'm therefore looking for someone with strong technical skills, experience in laser cutting of logos/crests, and a good aesthetic sensibility. Technical specifications Parameter Detail Material Steel sheet, 2 mm thick Final size Height approx. 500 mm Required format DXF or DWG, compatible with Lantek Expert Cut Tasks required 1. Vectorization Starting from the images I will provide, faithfully reconstruct the three crests in vector format, taking care of: accurate reconstruction of all heraldic elements (shields, crowns, mountains, trees, animals, ornaments and decorations); recreation of the text (municipality names and mottos) using fonts as close as possible to the originals; cleaning and optimizing the paths for laser cutting. 2. Laser cutting preparation The file must be genuinely production-ready. Specifically, it will be necessary to: insert all tabs/bridges/micro-joints needed so that no part of the crest falls off during or after cutting; verify that all internal islands (letters, figures, details) are properly anchored. For 2 mm sheet metal, the tabs/bridges should have appropriate dimensions (approximately 2–4 mm), to be evaluated case by case depending on the context. 3. Aesthetic quality (the aspect I care about most) I do not want tabs/bridges inserted automatically or placed randomly. I would like them to be carefully designed and integrated into the artwork, choosing the least visible points while preserving the legibility of the crest. If necessary, I'm open to considering small adaptations (e.g. thickening elements that are too thin), as long as the result remains faithful to the original. What I will provide The three original crests in SVG/WebP format. Professional requirements Experience vectorizing complex logos and crests; experience preparing files for laser cutting; knowledge of design criteria for tabs/bridges and micro-joints; attention to detail and aesthetic sensibility.
