Please Note: total amount is $80. Please do not bid if this is not acceptable. I’m putting together a single-rail power supply for sensitive audio gear and need a clean, hum-free output. The brief is straightforward: • Topology: prefer an LDO-based regulator front-ended by a capacitance-multiplier stage (or an equally quiet alternative you can justify). • Input: board-mounted, fully encapsulated transformer—no off-board or open-frame types. • Output: 9 V to 24 V DC, up to 1.5 A continuous. Low ripple and broadband noise filtering are far more important than absolute efficiency. Include transformer snubbers. • Target use: high-end audio equipment, so 50/60 Hz mains-borne noise, switch-spikes and thermal drift must all be kept to a minimum. Deliverables 1. Complete schematic (PDF + native design files) and KiCad project. 2. Optimised two-layer (or more, if you think it helps) PCB layout with all manufacturable Gerbers. 3. Fully specified BOM with part numbers that are actually in stock at at least one mainstream distributor. 4. Brief design note explaining noise-reduction strategy, expected ripple figures and any trade-offs. 5. LTspice sims that back up your noise claims. Acceptance criteria: ≤2 mV rms ripple across 20 Hz-20 kHz at 1 A load, thermal rise under 40 °C at full load in 25 °C ambient, and no audible hum when connected to a headphone amp. If you have prior work on low-noise audio PSUs, feel free to reference it; otherwise, let the technical arguments speak for themselves.
