We run a tennis data & research team. We need one reliable person on the ground in Lu'an during the ITF W15 professional tennis tournament, 3–10 August (possibly 1–2 August for qualifying). Entry is free, crowds are small, the setting is relaxed. The job Attend the tournament daily, roughly 9:30–18:00 (follows the day's schedule) Stay on a live call with our team (Telegram) while matches are on The moment something happens, say it on the call within seconds: a player calls the physio / medical timeout (which court, which player, what body part, what time) a player retires (quits the match injured) visible heat distress — cramping, vomiting, ice towels, dizziness Example of a perfect report: "Court 2, Zhang vs Wang — physio on court for Zhang, right thigh being taped, clock started 14:03." What we do NOT need No scores — we already have live score data No video or photos If tournament staff ask you anything, comply immediately and politely — no arguments, ever Training — no tennis knowledge required Before day 1 we'll send you short training videos showing exactly how a live medical timeout works (physio walking on, umpire's announcement, the 3-minute treatment clock) plus a one-page cheat sheet, and we'll do a quick practice run with you on a call. If you're willing to learn, we'll make you good at this in an hour. Requirements Good spoken English — you talk to us directly, live on the call Fast reactions; phone always charged and online; when we call, you answer instantly Willing to watch the training videos and pass a short practice test Punctual, sharp-eyed, reliable for all 8 days Student at West Anhui University ideal (the venue is close), but not required Pay ~$50 USD (≈¥350) per day, settled the same day (WeChat/Alipay) The retirement bonus — this is the big one: if a player on the court you're watching retires and you tell us on the live call within ~1 minute, you earn several hundred US dollars — up to $1,000 for a perfect instant call. Every single time it happens. One good day here can pay more than a month of any campus job. Bonuses pay only for retirements confirmed in the official results (we verify within minutes). Guessed or exaggerated calls earn nothing — repeated false alarms end the arrangement immediately. The rules always apply: no scores, comply with staff instantly. No bonus is ever worth breaking a venue rule — a removed observer earns zero for the rest of the week. Full-week reliability bonus on top if you show up all 8 days sharp.
