I am looking for an artist to collaborate on a one-shot manga set in the 1930s. The project involves creating character designs, manga panels, and all artwork required for a story just under 50 pages. To start, I’d like to commission character sketches as a test phase. This includes a full character turnaround (front, side profile, back, and 3/4), a close-up of the character’s face, and a panel of 6-7 facial expressions. The artwork should be clean black-and-white sketches with detailed line art, hand-drawn or sketch-style, with no color. These will serve as reference sheets. If satisfied with the results, I will hire the artist for the entire manga project. The ideal candidate should have experience in manga art styles and storytelling, with prior experience in drawing manga. Completion is expected by mid-August.
