I have a collection of Excel workbooks that need to be merged, tidied up, and prepared for further analysis. Everything must be handled manually—no macros or automated scrapers—so every value is double-checked for accuracy. Here’s the flow I’m expecting: • Transfer the data from the individual Excel sheets into a consolidated master file. • Detect and eliminate duplicates, fix inconsistent formats (dates, currency, text case), and fill in any obviously missing fields where the information is present elsewhere in the sheets. • Re-organize the columns logically and apply basic validation rules so the file is ready for downstream analysis or pivot-table reporting. Please keep a short log of the corrections you make; a simple “before / after” note inside a separate tab is fine. Final deliverable is the cleaned, well-structured workbook plus that change log.
