Our manufacturing arm captures plenty of shop-floor and ERP data, yet most of it sits unused. I want that information converted into a clear story focused on operational efficiency. The core of the assignment is to analyse our manufacturing data and surface three critical metrics—production yield, machine downtime, and inventory levels—within an intuitive management dashboard. Here is how I see the flow of work: • Data preparation: connect to and clean raw production logs, maintenance records, and stock files (SQL, Excel, or CSV). • Modelling & analysis: calculate run-rate KPIs, variance against targets, and trend lines that highlight bottlenecks. • Visual delivery: build an interactive dashboard (Power BI, Tableau, or a similarly robust tool) that executives can slice by line, shift, or date. • Automation: schedule daily or weekly email or PDF reports straight from the system so key stakeholders stay informed without manual effort. • Insight hand-off: translate the numbers into plain-language recommendations I can act on, supported by concise documentation of the data model and calculations. Success is a dashboard that my leadership team can open and immediately understand where efficiency is lost, why, and what to fix first.
