# Build a Premium Manufacturing RFQ Platform (MVP) ## About the Project I am building the first version (MVP) of a manufacturing quotation platform called **OROUQ**. The goal is to create a simple, modern, and professional web application where customers can upload manufacturing drawings and request quotations. This is **not** a marketplace in the first phase. The platform owner (Admin) will manually review requests, contact workshops and factories, prepare quotations, and send the final quotation back to customers. The project should be scalable because additional features will be added in future releases. --- ## Main Services The platform will initially support: * CNC Machining * Laser Cutting * Steel Fabrication * Wood Manufacturing * General Fabrication --- ## Customer Website The website should have a premium, modern UI similar to Stripe, Linear, Notion, Apple, or Framer. The website must be fully responsive on desktop, tablet, and mobile. Required pages: * Home * Services * How It Works * About * Contact * Request a Quote * Login / Register * Customer Dashboard (for registered users) Guest users should also be able to submit quotation requests. --- ## Request for Quotation (RFQ) The quotation request page should allow users to: * Select manufacturing category * Enter project information * Upload multiple files * Submit the request Supported files: * PDF * DWG * DXF * STEP * STL * Images * ZIP Fields: * Full Name * Company (Optional) * Mobile Number * Email * City * Material (Optional) * Quantity * Required Delivery Date * Project Description After submission, the customer receives a confirmation email. --- ## Customer Dashboard Registered customers should be able to: * View submitted requests * Track request status * Download quotations * View uploaded files * Update profile --- ## Admin Dashboard The Admin dashboard should include: * Dashboard overview * Manufacturing Requests * Customers * Quotations * Uploaded Files * Email Notifications * Settings The Admin should be able to: * View all requests * Download customer files * Change request status * Add internal notes * Upload quotation PDF * Send quotation to customer by email * Search and filter requests Request statuses: * New * Reviewing * Pricing * Quotation Sent * Accepted * Rejected * Completed --- ## Technical Requirements Preferred technologies (or equivalent): * Next.js / React * TypeScript * Tailwind CSS * Supabase * PostgreSQL I'm open to better recommendations if they improve scalability and maintainability. --- ## Design Requirements This project places a strong emphasis on UI/UX quality. The interface should be clean, elegant, fast, and easy to use.
