Descripción de la oferta

I’m ready to bring our new application environments online and need two clean MariaDB instances—one for development, one for staging. Both must run as independent, standalone databases, yet mirror the same schema so our deployment pipeline stays consistent. Security is important to us: instead of a single super-user, I want proper role-based access control. That means clearly defined roles (e.g., read-only, read-write, admin) with the minimum privileges required. Please script the creation of those roles and users so we can reproduce them in future environments without manual steps. You’re free to work with the host OS or container solution you prefer—as long as the result is easily documented and repeatable. If Docker or docker-compose is your choice, that’s fine; if you’d rather use native packages on Ubuntu, that works too. Just outline any prerequisites and include concise setup notes or an automated script. Deliverables: • Two fully provisioned MariaDB instances: one tagged “dev”, one “staging”. • SQL (or shell) scripts that build the schema, create roles and users, and assign privileges. • A brief README covering installation steps, default ports, credentials, and how to extend the role set. • Confirmation that I can connect remotely with the intended privileges from my workstation. I’ll test by spinning up both environments from your instructions, checking role separation, and running basic CRUD operations. Once everything passes on my side, we’re done. Let me know your preferred workflow and any clarifications you need.
