Descripción de la oferta

I am building a dedicated online marketplace for South African school communities where families can buy and sell pre-loved school essentials. The platform must let users list and purchase School uniforms, Textbooks, Sports equipment and even Sports clothes, but always in a way that keeps each item clearly linked to the correct school. Key workflow • Parents or guardians create an account, select (or add) their school, and upload item details with photos and prices. • Buyers browse or search by school and category, add items to a cart, pay securely, and arrange delivery or collection. • On each completed sale, an automatic commission is reserved for the associated school; periodic payouts go straight to the school’s bank account while the seller receives the balance. Core features I require – User, school and seller registration with role-based dashboards – Product listing flow with category tags, size/grade fields and image handling – Real-time inventory and order management – Secure payment gateway suitable for South Africa (PayFast, Peach Payments or similar) – Commission engine that records, reports and settles funds to multiple schools – Buyer and seller messaging plus basic dispute logging – Mobile-first responsive design – Admin panel for content moderation, payout approvals and analytics Deliverables 1. Fully-functional web application deployed to a scalable cloud host 2. Source code with clear README, environment variables and installation steps 3. Database schema and basic seed data for users, schools and products 4. Payment and payout workflows tested in sandbox and live mode 5. Short hand-over session and 30-day support for critical bug fixes Acceptance criteria The first transaction—from listing a textbook to commissioning the correct school and disbursing funds to both parties—must run end-to-end without manual intervention. If you have launched multi-vendor or school-based platforms before, especially with South African payment rails, let me know how you would structure the build and what stack you recommend so we can move ahead quickly.
