I already have the full electronics worked out for a rechargeable, time-based smart-key system; now I need the mechanical side brought to life and documented so a machining house can move straight into mass production. Scope You will create production-ready mechanical designs (STP files plus manufacturing drawings, BOM and assembly notes) for three linked units: • the rechargeable smart key, • the battery-free lock drum, • and the desktop programming / charging dock. Key requirements – Multilayer construction that combines stainless steel, aluminum and titanium exactly where each metal’s strength-to-weight or corrosion advantage is needed. – For the key: an ergonomic grip, compact profile and proven durability against daily wear. – For the lock drum: robust tamper and pick resistance together with my electronics-controlled, automatic timed-relock mechanism. – All parts and tolerances suitable for CNC machining, investment casting or metal injection moulding at volume. – Clear call-outs for seals, fasteners, surface treatments and any custom springs or pins that interact with the electronics I provide. Acceptance I’ll consider the job complete when I receive: 1. Native and neutral STP files for every individual component and top-level assembly. 2. Fully dimensioned 2-D drawings with GD&T, finishing specs and exploded views. 3. A concise build manual that lets a factory set tool paths and QC checks without further input.
