These are lessons that children must address on their way to growing tall. Each story provides an opportunity for parents to have a graphic that relates to the character(s). What I need now is a gifted illustrator who can translate those sketches into vibrant, cartoonish artwork that instantly captures a young child’s imagination. Think bold shapes, expressive faces, and bright, welcoming colors—nothing too busy or overly detailed, just warm, lively scenes that read clearly on the first glance. Scope of this first phase • Clean up or redraw each sketch in your own style while staying faithful to the overall composition and character poses I provide. • Deliver full-color illustrations ready for print at high resolution (preferably layered PSD or AI). • Maintain consistency in proportions, color palette, and line weight across all pages so the elephant, mouse, and child remain recognizable from scene to scene. • Provide a separate cover illustration when interior pages are complete. Next phase (optional but likely) Once the illustrations are approved, I’ll move straight into page layout and typography. If you’re comfortable in InDesign or similar tools, let me know—otherwise I’ll hire a dedicated layout artist and hand them your layered files. Acceptance checklist • Cartoonish style suited to 3-5-year-olds • Color files in CMYK, 300 dpi minimum • Layered source files plus flattened finals • Two revision rounds built into your quote If you love bringing friendly animal characters and playful kids to life, I’d love to see your portfolio and hear how you’d approach this project.
