LATAM Spanish (Mexico) Microdrama Content QC Freelancer We're looking for a **Mexico-based freelancer** with truly native **LATAM Spanish (Mexican)** who can help us perform **linguistic quality checks (QC)** on localized microdrama content. Your primary responsibility will be reviewing translated scripts, subtitles (SRTs), and occasionally dubbed videos to ensure the Spanish sounds completely natural for audiences in Mexico and the broader LATAM market. You'll be expected to identify and flag anything that feels unnatural, inconsistent, or culturally inaccurate, as well as catch grammar, spelling, punctuation, terminology, and formatting issues before the content goes live. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail and understands how dialogue should flow in entertainment content. Experience reviewing subtitles, audiovisual localization, dubbing scripts, or streaming content is highly preferred. Familiarity with subtitle timing, reading speed, and maintaining consistency in character names, tone, and terminology across episodes is a strong advantage. Turnaround times are generally quick, so we're looking for someone who is available during **Mexican business hours** and can deliver clear, well-organized feedback within agreed timelines. **When you apply, please include:** * Any experience reviewing or quality-checking Spanish subtitles, dubbing scripts, or localized entertainment content. * Experience with microdrama, TV series, films, YouTube content, or other audiovisual localization projects. * The tools you're comfortable using (e.g., Google Docs, Subtitle Edit, Aegisub, OOONA, Trados, memoQ, Figma, or similar). * Your typical turnaround time for reviewing approximately **60–90 minutes of subtitled content** (or equivalent script length). * Your hourly or per-minute QC rate, if applicable. We'll begin with a short test. If it's a good fit, we're looking to build a long-term collaboration with a steady pipeline of microdrama localization projects.
