I need the backend of our new payment platform built first. The immediate goal is a Spring-based microservice (or small set of services) that processes bank-transfer payments end-to-end. Please design the services around clear REST endpoints, document them with Swagger / OpenAPI, and make sure responses are clean JSON (XML only if a partner specifically requires it). Key points you’ll work on: • Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security where appropriate • Bank-transfer payment flow: create transaction, verify funds, confirm settlement, emit events • Kafka or another reliable MQ for event propagation • Container-ready code: craft Dockerfiles, helm charts or Kubernetes manifests so I can deploy straight to our cluster • Liquibase-based migrations, Bitbucket pipelines, and Jenkins jobs wired into our existing Jira/Confluence workflow Once the backend is stable, we will wire a simple React front end (Redux preferred) to exercise the APIs, but that is secondary; your first milestone is the microservice itself running in Kubernetes with a green integration test suite. Acceptance criteria for that milestone 1. OpenAPI spec published in the repo and rendered in Swagger-UI 2. All CRUD and payment-processing endpoints return expected JSON payloads with proper HTTP status codes 3. Bank-transfer flow triggers the correct Kafka topic events 4. Service builds in CI, containers start cleanly, and k8s health checks pass 5.
