Location: Remote Job Type: Freelance / Contract Language: English Experience: 2–4 Years About the Role We are looking for a skilled and creative Mid-Level Freelance SEO Content Writer with a strong background in E-commerce. In this role, you will create engaging, search-engine-optimized content that drives organic traffic, enhances user engagement, and boosts sales/conversions across our product and brand pages. Key Responsibilities Write compelling, clear, and high-converting product descriptions, category pages, blog posts, and buyer guides. Conduct thorough keyword research to incorporate primary and secondary keywords naturally into content. Write catchy meta titles, meta descriptions, and image alt text optimized for search engines. Collaborate with our marketing/SEO team to align content strategies with target audience intent. Proofread and edit content to ensure consistent tone, correct grammar, and brand voice. Keep up with current trends in e-commerce, content marketing, and SEO best practices. Requirements & Qualifications Experience: 2–4 years of proven experience as an SEO Content Writer, specifically in the E-commerce niche. Language Skills: Native or near-native fluency in written English with excellent grammar and editing skills. SEO Expertise: Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, on-page SEO, and tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Yoast/RankMath. Portfolio: A portfolio of published e-commerce articles, product descriptions, or buying guides. Self-Motivated: Ability to meet tight deadlines, work independently in a remote setting, and take constructive feedback. Preferred Skills (Bonus) Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or Amazon. Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.
