I’ve relied on this offline desktop tool for years to manage invoices and compile expense reports securely, but its look and feel have not kept pace with today’s expectations. The overall layout is clunky, menus are hard to follow, and several UI components are no longer supported. I want to give the app a clean, modern interface and, at the same time, introduce an interactive data-visualization dashboard so users can spot spending trends instantly. You will start from the existing compiled files (attached). During our chat I’ll walk you through the architecture, show where legacy elements live, and confirm any libraries in play. The underlying logic for invoice management and expense reporting must stay intact; the refresh is about presentation, usability, and a new dashboard layer—nothing should compromise the app’s ability to work fully offline. Feel free to suggest the most suitable desktop stack—WPF, Electron, Qt, or another lightweight option—as long as the final build runs smoothly on Windows without internet access.
