I already have architectural plans generated by a draftsman for a new single-family residence in Montana and now need the complete engineering package to take it through permitting and construction. STRUCTURAL The house will be wood-framed. I need stamped calculations and drawings for gravity and lateral loads, a concrete foundation sized for known Rocky Mountain “rocky soil,” and any sub-soil recommendations that may affect footing design, drainage, or insulation. Please coordinate beam, joist, and truss schedules with the current architectural set. MEP HVAC: Traditional forced-air system with central A/C throughout, plus radiant floor heat in the basement and garage. Even with radiant, the basement must still receive active cooling. Fuel source is propane. Electrical: Provide a code-compliant layout, panel schedules, load calculations, and provisioning for an automatic backup generator. NEC 2023 adherence is required. Plumbing: Size and route all water, waste, and vent lines per current IPC and local amendments. Deliverables • Signed/stamped structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings ready for county submission (DWG + PDF) • Supporting calculations and equipment schedules • Coordination responses to one round of plan-checker comments I work in AutoCAD and Revit, so compatibility with those formats is important. If you have Montana licensing, note it; otherwise, indicate how you will facilitate local stamping. Let me know your proposed timeline and any questions you have about the existing plans, and I will share the architectural set right away. Time is of the essence as local engineering is behind by several months. Importance is structural so excavation can start ASAP. Price negotiable and will be considered based on lead time.
