My current Moodle build is running on a later release that no longer suits our environment. I need it rolled back to a stable 3.x version—we can confirm the exact point-release together once we review compatibility notes. The site already has several custom plugins and tweaks that must keep working after the downgrade, so preserving data and functionality is critical. After the rollback I also want a fresh look. I haven’t settled on the theme yet (Boost, Fordson, Adaptable, or another modern option), so I’ll rely on your advice to choose, install, and fine-tune one that stays fully responsive and plays nicely with our existing custom-code base. Deliverables • Pre-migration full backup and rollback plan • Clean downgrade to the agreed 3.x release with all data, courses, users, and plugins intact • Installation and configuration of the new theme, including logo, colours, and basic layout tweaks • Post-migration testing so that enrolments, activities, and key third-party plugins function exactly as before • Short hand-off guide outlining any version-specific admin tasks Ideally you’re comfortable with SSH, Git, and standard LAMP stack operations, and you’ve handled Moodle version jumps in production before.
