I’m putting together a series of written pieces that speak directly to the everyday realities our community’s youth face. Think short, engaging articles that offer practical advice they can act on right away—no videos or podcasts this time, just clear, well-crafted words that feel like a friend talking. Scope • Format: written articles only, 600–800 words each • Tone: upbeat, relatable and jargon-free • Focus: practical steps for handling common challenges—school pressure, first jobs, relationships, self-esteem, money basics, digital life, and similar topics affecting teens through twenty-somethings • Audience: all community youth, so language must resonate with 13- to 30-year-olds without talking down to either end of that range What I need from you 1. A quick outline of 5 article ideas (titles plus a one-line summary for each) 2. The first completed article so I can review your style and give feedback 3. The remaining articles, revised per any notes, fully proofread and ready to publish Acceptance criteria • Each piece must be original, positive, culturally sensitive, and fact-checked • Advice must feel doable—include concrete examples or simple step-by-step guidance • Conversational voice; no academic essays or lecture tone • Delivered in Word or Google Docs with headings and sub-headings for easy online formatting If you enjoy motivating young people and can translate real-world experience into clear, inspiring prose, I’d love to see a brief sample of your work and your turnaround time for the first article.
