I regularly shoot educational footage and need a skilled editor to transform it into polished, tutorial-style content that works equally well on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram Reels. You’ll receive raw clips and a rough brief for each episode; from there, I expect you to: • Trim and arrange the best takes into a fast-paced narrative • Add smooth transitions that feel natural, not distracting • Insert clear, well-timed subtitles (open or closed captions, depending on platform) • Layer royalty-free background music and subtle sound effects that enhance, never overpower • Perform color correction and light grading so every frame looks consistent • Introduce basic motion graphics for titles, pointers, and logo stings Workflow notes – Final exports: 4K (YouTube) and vertical 1080×1920 (Reels/Shorts) in H.264. – Turnaround: typically 48–72 hours after I deliver footage; please flag if a cut will need more time. – Tools: Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve for editing, After Effects or comparable for graphics—use what you’re fastest with, just provide project files on delivery. – Revisions: one major and one minor pass per video included. Deliverables per episode 1. Master edit for YouTube 2. Reformatted vertical cut for TikTok/IG 3. Separate .srt subtitle file 4.
