I’m building a new application and need a well-structured MySQL relational database at its core. I’ll supply a list of entities, sample data flows, and a few reports I know I’ll need; your job is to turn that into a fully normalised schema that performs well from day one. What I need you to do • Translate my rough entity notes into an ER diagram, showing tables, relationships, and cardinality. • Produce clean, commented SQL scripts to create all tables, constraints, indexes, and any lookup or bridge tables that emerge during normalisation. • Include a handful of seed rows so I can sanity-check joins and reports. • Offer brief guidance on naming conventions and performance tweaks (partitioning, indexing strategy, etc.) appropriate for MySQL 8.0. Acceptance criteria • SQL runs without errors on a fresh MySQL instance. • All tables reach at least 3NF unless a conscious denormalisation is justified. • Keys, constraints, and indexes support the sample reports I provide. When you respond, please highlight your direct experience designing MySQL databases of similar scale. A concise overview of past projects that demonstrate solid relational design and optimisation skills is all I’m looking for—no lengthy proposals needed.
