Owner-Builder Modern Home – Architectural and Structural Engineering for Permit Set in New York Project Overview I am planning an owner-built custom home on a rural 6.1-acre property in the Town of Laurens, Otsego County, New York. I already have a conceptual architectural design, preliminary floor plans, exterior renderings, site-planning concepts, and an initial design-development package. I am looking for a qualified architect, residential designer, structural engineer, or coordinated design team to convert the existing concept into a complete, code-compliant, permit-ready construction drawing set. This is not a design-from-scratch project. The general layout, design direction, exterior character, and construction priorities have already been established. Some refinement and coordination will be required to make the design practical, structurally sound, code compliant, and ready for permit submission.
