Your primary mission is to tighten the story’s flow and coherence from the opening line right through to the last page. As you work, please correct any lingering grammar, punctuation and spelling slips, but keep your main focus on narrative momentum—flagging slow spots, smoothing rough transitions and making sure every scene lands with the right impact. I would like a blend of direct edits and thoughtful suggestions. Feel free to rewrite awkward sentences or paragraphs outright when the fix is obvious, yet leave inline comments (or tracked-change notes) whenever a different structural approach might improve pacing, tension or clarity. This balanced method should let me accept quick wins instantly while still weighing bigger creative choices. Consistency in fonts, headings, chapter breaks and overall formatting is also important, so standardise typefaces, paragraph styles and any ornamental elements while you work. At the end, the document should be clean, uniformly styled and ready for a final layout pass. I’m after concise, constructive feedback on my central cast rather than exhaustive biographies.
