I need a civil engineer who can be on site full-time, managing the project while personally keeping our clients in the loop. Your core mandate is project management, with client communication sitting at the centre of that role. Expect to: • Spend the bulk of each day on the site, monitoring progress and verifying that work aligns with drawings and specifications. • Speak with the client directly—by phone for quick updates and in-person for formal walk-throughs, issue resolution, and milestone reviews. • Prepare concise status reports and meeting minutes that capture decisions, action items, and next steps. You will coordinate with contractors, track any design deviations, and flag risks early. Familiarity with common project-management tools such as MS Project or Primavera and the usual civil packages (AutoCAD, STAAD, Revit) will make communication with both field teams and the client smoother. Success is simple to measure here: the client stays informed without chasing us, and the schedule stays on track.
