A batch of new switches is arriving at our premise and I need reliable smart-hands assistance to swap them in without interrupting service. The job is strictly on-site and centres on a wired network setup: unplug the legacy hardware, mount and cable the replacement devices, power-test, and clear the rack of the retired units for collection. You will be guided in real time by a remote engineer who will confirm port assignments and link-light checks. No software configuration is required—just precise physical work and the ability to follow clear, step-by-step instructions while keeping everything tidy and properly labelled. Deliverables • New devices physically installed, patched and powered on • Old devices removed, boxed and labelled for return • Photographs of final rack layout and link-light status • Confirmation call (or message) that remote ping tests pass Bring your own basic hand tools and a small label printer if possible; we will supply all hardware, patch leads and rack screws. The site is accessible during standard business hours, but after-hours access can be arranged with notice.
