I run a WordPress site that needs reliable, ongoing care. The core of the job is to keep everything updated and secure, while making sure visitors always experience a fast-loading, error-free site. Your regular tasks Ongoing Support • Assist with site maintenance, including access • Generate new certificates for the app, update app theme to reflect latest plugin build, set up/import abstracts, generate test builds, and test app. • Update to latest version of tools used and ensure what is used doesn't have outstanding security vulnerabilities, within 24-72 hrs for patches identified for zero-day flaws • Maintain the website's runtime environment (including PHP, database access software , and other platform dependencies) in supported versions. Required upgrades driven by hosting-provider requirements or published end-of-life dates will be completed before the applicable deadline or within ten (10) business days of notice if a shorter timeline applies. • Additional support as needed What I’m looking for You should be comfortable working inside WordPress dashboards, cPanel/hosting consoles, and popular optimisation or security tools such as WP-CLI, UpdraftPlus, Wordfence, LiteSpeed/Cache or similar. Clear communication is essential; I expect a short report each maintenance cycle outlining work done, issues found and recommended next steps. Acceptance criteria 1. Site remains fully accessible and malware-free after each update round. 2. Page load times stay within agreed benchmarks. 3. No broken internal or outbound links in routine scans. 4. Any emergency request is acknowledged within the same business day. We can agree on the exact frequency of security checks and update windows once we start, but consistency is key.
