I’m looking for someone who can guide a 4th-grade student through the full mathematics curriculum in a live online setting. We’ll meet virtually, so you should be comfortable using Zoom or a similar interactive platform with screen-sharing, whiteboard tools, and the ability to walk through problems step-by-step. Scope of work • Cover the standard 4th-grade topics—multiplication and division facts, fractions, decimals, basic geometry, word-problem strategies, and early pre-algebra reasoning. • Reinforce classroom lessons, provide extra practice sheets, and prepare short formative quizzes to check understanding after each session. • Communicate progress updates to me weekly and suggest targeted exercises when you notice any skill gaps. Deliverables 1. A short session plan (objectives, activities, materials) sent 24 hours before each lesson. 2. Custom practice worksheets or links to interactive exercises after every class. 3. A monthly progress report highlighting mastered skills and those that still need attention. Acceptance criteria • Lessons run punctually and remain engaging for a young learner throughout the hour. • Explanations are clear and age-appropriate; the student can solve similar problems independently by the end of each topic. • All materials are shared in editable formats (Google Docs, PDFs, or equivalent). If you have experience teaching elementary math online and can make numbers both fun and understandable, I’d love to hear how you would approach this.
