This project centres on translating my raw operational data into a clean, insightful Power BI dashboard that drives data-driven decisions across the business. I already have the data and a clear outline of the story it needs to tell; what’s missing is the expert build that weaves everything together. You will start by shaping and cleansing the source tables in Power Query, then layer in advanced DAX to create the calculated measures that matter most for efficiency tracking—think throughput, cycle time, utilisation, variance to target, and any other ratios needed for real-time performance checks. Once the numbers are reliable, the visual experience comes next: KPI cards for headline figures, interactive charts that can drill through to root causes, and slicers or dynamic filters so any stakeholder can slice the story by department, date, or process stage. Because the end users range from frontline supervisors to senior leadership, the interface must remain intuitive, fast, and visually consistent with corporate branding. Deliverables • One Power BI .pbix file containing: – Cleaned and modelled data tables – All DAX calculations fully labelled and commented – A dashboard page with KPI cards plus supporting visuals (column, line, matrix, waterfall, etc.) – Drill-through pages that reveal detailed operational data – Dynamic filters/slicers for flexible exploration • A brief hand-off video or document explaining data refresh steps and any configurable parameters Success is measured by the accuracy of the metrics, the responsiveness of the visuals, and the ability of users to uncover operational insights within two clicks.
