I have a Python based heuristics that make optimisation and decision-making recommendations, but their current performance is inconsistent because the underlying data source is not properly integrated. Your job is to get these heuristics working reliably by first fixing the integration and then refining the logic and debugging so the results are stable and reproducible. The work centres on: • Integrating multiple CSVs. • Rewriting or tweaking the existing optimisation algorithms and decision-making rules so they run efficiently on the unified data. • Demonstrating the end-to-end process in a clean script or notebook and validating that the new outputs make sense against a small test scenario I will supply. Deliverables I expect: 1. A well-commented Python module (or notebook) that loads the raw sources, merges them, and calls the improved heuristics. 2. A concise README explaining how to run everything locally. 3. A demo run to showcase well working notebook Acceptance criteria will be met when the script runs on my machine without edits and produces the agreed-upon optimisation & decision metrics within the expected tolerance levels. If you are comfortable juggling pandas, NumPy, and algorithmic tuning, I’m ready to share the data and walk you through the current code base.
