We are developing a laser-based, high-resolution imaging device and need an experienced optomechanical engineer to continuously support the exsiting mechanical engineering team to elaborate the current design into a fully detailed SolidWorks model ready for fabrication. The core task is to blend precision optics with a mechanically robust housing that maintains alignment under normal lab conditions. Key deliverables • SolidWorks assembly of the complete instrument, including optical mounts, adjustment features and enclosure • Manufacturing-ready part drawings with tolerances and call-outs suitable for a typical machine shop • Annotated Bill of Materials cross-referencing commercial optomechanics and custom parts • PDF/STEP exports for review plus the native SolidWorks files If you thrive on tight optical tolerances and can communicate progress clearly, let’s talk details and timelines.
