We are seeking reliable U.S.-based testers to participate in a user acceptance study for a smartphone-based TV remote control application. No prior QA or testing experience is necessary—just a compatible TV and a few minutes of your time. Testing Objective: You will install our test app on your iOS device, connect it to your TV over Wi-Fi, and evaluate whether the app successfully discovers and establishes control over your TV set. Priority TV Brands (must own at least one): Roku / Vizio / TCL / onn / LG / Hisense / Sony / Samsung / Philips / FireTV / AndroidTV What You’ll Do: 1. Install the test application on your iOS smartphone (iPhone or iPad). 2. Ensure your phone and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. 3. Run the discovery process and test the app’s core control functionalities. 4. Document each feature’s performance against our provided checklist. 5. Record a short screen-recording video (1–5 minutes) walking through your test session. 6. Fill out a brief post-test questionnaire. Requirements: - Must be in the United States NOW. - Must own at least one TV from the listed brands. - Must have an iOS smartphone/tablet with Wi-Fi capability (this phase is iOS-only). - Comfortable creating and submitting screen-recorded videos. - Stable internet connection for uploading deliverables. Compensation Structure: - $25 USD for a complete, successful test—paid out when the app connects successfully and you have submitted the full checklist, video, and questionnaire. - $10 USD for attempted tests where the app fails to discover or connect to your TV—you will still need to submit a brief video showing the failed attempt and complete the short form. - Bonus available if you own multiple qualifying TVs and test the app across all of them.
